Bodycote-IMT N.V. was originally established in 1895 under the name of National Forge Europe-IMT Belgium and was acquired by the Bodycote group in 1992.

Our activity is called "HIPping": Hot Isostatic Pressing.Hipping is an innovative thermic treatment processed in a pressure vessel under high isostatic pressure and temperature, in order to- eliminate porosities of casting- densify metal and ceramic powders- consolidate P/M parts and applied for diffusion bondingThe main business in Sint-Niklaas is densification of castings.Applications- Castings : Titanium - Alloy Steel - Superalloy- Ceramics- Diamond Tools- Glass- Densals- Medical Implants- Sputtering Targets- Infra - red Windows
